Salem Montessori School is seeking motivated candidates who are passionate about providing high-quality administrative support. The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors.  

The Front Desk Coordinator will greet and assist visitors, students, families, and staff. They are responsible for overall front desk activities, including management of the reception area and meeting areas, customer service, phones, mail, and office supplies. The FD Coordinator will also manage child pick-up.

The educational and care programs at Salem Montessori serve children from birth through 8th grade in five different programs: Infant, Toddler, Primary, Elementary, and Middle School. Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • Monday-Friday
  • Hours available 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Ability to be on your feet
  • Ability to lift and move 25 lbs
  • *Primary responsibilities include sending emails, working on upcoming school events, answering phone calls, organizing attendance sheets, assisting with pick-up, filling in as a classroom assistant when needed, and helping supervise/cleaning during student nap times.

Requirements:

  • Ages 18 or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with Microsoft and Microsoft Extensions Preferred
  • Must be able to see and read to complete forms, read reports, and visually determine the correct working order of physical aspects of the front office
